Contact the client’s primary care physician for a referral to be sent to Paws & Progress Therapy Services. 

Complete the online intake information through the client portal to enable personalized evaluation and a transparent billing process. 

I will use formal and informal assessments to identify barriers, create goals, and design individualized care plans. 

Pediatric OT

Pediatric occupational therapy helps children with a range of needs and conditions to develop the necessary life skills for play, learning, and independence in daily activities. 

Animal Assisted Therapy

Animal-assisted therapy integrates trained dog-handler teams into occupational therapy services to enhance social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills. 

OT for Neurodivergent Adults

Occupational therapy for neurodivergent adults supports independence in daily life participation by focusing on individual strengths, challenges, and goals.

I am Macy, the heart behind Paws and Progress, a licensed occupational therapist, a certified professional dog trainer, and an animal-assisted intervention specialist. Alongside me are my team's two most enthusiastic members: occupational therapy clinic dogs Lola and Griz, who play a central role in the therapeutic processes. Together, we serve the Albuquerque, New Mexico, community with a unique blend of occupational therapy and animal-assisted therapy. 

As a solo practitioner, my administrative hours vary daily based on client needs. Office hours fluctuate between 9 AM and 6 PM, Monday through Friday. For the quickest correspondence, please email me.

Due to limited availability, I request that you complete the form below to reserve your spot at Paws and Progress. As a single-operator practice, my capacity to take on new clients and respond to interest forms is limited. Your patience is appreciated! 

Session Availability

Clients will be scheduled for consistent weekly sessions on the same day and time each week. Session frequency and duration are tailored to each client’s unique needs, offering options from one-hour individual sessions to 90-minute group sessions. My schedule capacity and the order of the waitlist determine the availability of session slots. 

Clients who can schedule mid-day sessions between 11 AM and 2 PM may be onboarded sooner. If you require high-demand times (3 PM to 6 PM), please note there may be a wait of up to 2 years. To start sooner, consider mid-day sessions, which offer priority access when your preferred slots open up
